Design For Real Life – Design Document
For my design document I wanted to ensure I really showcased all of my outcomes in the best way possible, but I also wanted to really tell the story of my idea and how the outcomes work alongside it. I wanted to keep it clean and professional whilst ensuring some of the key parts of the visual language stand out.

Talking through the brief to give a strong understanding of what is looking to be achieved from the project.

Looking at the challenges faced from the brief, setting up answers to how they have been overcome.

Looking at the solutions and how I looked to overcome the problems faced with the brief.

Explaining the visual identity and the reasoning behind it.

The Outcomes

Its important the to highlight that although I’m happy with progress so far, there will be and always is other ways in which the project can be improved and taken to the next step. This slide outlined this and the specific outcomes I could add to improve it.

Design For Real Life – Social Media
Personally I don’t think social media should be saturated with too much information so I think its the perfect place to make use of the icons and visuals like the star and the colours. It draws the users in and gets them interested as well as keeping people who are part of the programme up to date on what’s going on, and then links them to the website or contact details can help them find out more information.
I used lots of simple imagery from other parts of the campaign, from the website, posters, booklet etc and added them into the social media site.

Final Design

A visual encapsulation of the overall project all visualised within social media, giving the viewer relevant information about the guidelines, extra facts and statistics, keeping people up to date etc. All of this information could be tailored to other social media sites like instagram, twitter, facebook etc.Â
